Product Strategy

The Friday Night Problem

Why we are losing our best users, and how to win them back.

@AlimLLC
Product Manager

I ran a full 360° product audit.

And found 13 critical growth bottlenecks.

Distribution

  • 75% non-US rev, zero localization
  • Earn program operational issues

Monetization

  • No public API pricing
  • Enterprise SOC 2 compliance

Retention

  • The workflow bottleneck
  • Brand constraints
CRITICAL

We can fix localization later.

We can publish API pricing tomorrow.

But none of that matters...

If the core bucket is leaking.

So today, we are only talking about one thing.

We built a masterpiece.

We think we built it for him.

The independent filmmaker chasing the perfect shot.

But who is actually paying our bills?

85%

85% are Marketers & Agencies.

Meet Sarah.

She runs performance ads for a Top-50 brand.

Sarah loves our video quality.

But watch what happens to Sarah...

On a Friday.

At 4:00 PM.

Her client needs to test 50 ad variations by Monday.

She logs into Higgsfield.

She generates the core visuals in 10 minutes. Beautiful.

And then... the nightmare begins.

She has to download all 50 MP4 files.

Open Adobe Premiere.

Manually overlay the client's logo 50 times.

And manually upload to TikTok 50 times.

It is now 9:00 PM.

Next month, Sarah cancels her subscription.

She switches to a competitor with a worse AI model...

Because they save her Friday nights.

We didn't lose her because of our AI.

We lost her because we built a camera...

And she needed a factory.

True product thinking isn't about more pixels.

It's about removing friction.

Let's look at her bottleneck.

It's not the AI generation.

It's the packaging and distribution.

10 minutes

Creating the videos.

4 hours

Formatting and uploading them.

What if we eliminated the 4 hours?

Friction #1

Watermarking 50 videos manually.

Solution

Brand Kits.

She uploads the client's logo once.

We apply it to everything. Instantly.

Friction #2

Clicking "Generate" 50 times.

Solution

CSV Batch Processing.

She uploads a spreadsheet of 50 hooks.

We render the campaign in parallel.

Friction #3

Downloading 50 MP4s to her laptop.

Solution

1-Click API Publishing.

Direct pipeline from Higgsfield to TikTok Ads.

Zero downloads.

Let's replay that Friday at 4:00 PM.

Client asks for 50 variations.

Sarah uploads a CSV.

Hits "Generate & Publish Campaign".

4:15 PM.

The ads are live.

Sarah goes home.

And her agency upgrades to the $499 Enterprise Plan.

Because we didn't just give them a camera.

We built the
factory.

"Build for the users who
actually pay the bills."

The Next Steps

Phase 1: The Factory Pipeline
Brand Kits, CSV Batching, TikTok/Ads API Integrations
Phase 2: Monetization & B2B
Public API Pricing, SOC 2 Compliance for Enterprise
Phase 3: Distribution Expansion
Localization (JP/KR), Earn Program Revamp

Let's build this.

And then let's build the rest of the universe.

Appendix

Extra details for Q&A.

Appendix A

The Localization Gap

75% of revenue comes from outside the US. Yet, Higgsfield is entirely English-first.

Japan and Korea show massive top-of-funnel interest but suffer from huge drop-offs at checkout due to lack of localized UX/UI.

Appendix B

Earn Program Friction

The current Earn program incentivizes low-quality prompt spamming.

We are rewarding quantity over quality, leading to increased server costs without corresponding brand value growth or high-quality dataset creation.
